Infinergy has announced proposals to submit application for a 60-85 turbine wind farm on the Glenfiddich Estate. The proposal is still in the early stages and Infinergy are organising a consultation program to incorporate the views of the local comunity into the development.
There are 2 exhibitions on:

  • Wed 31st October – Cabrach Primary school, Lower Cabrach, huntly ,AB54 4EU,  4:30pm-9pm
  • Thu 1st November – Mortlach Memorial Hall, Albert Place, Dufftown, AB55 4AY, 2pm-8pm

There will be representatives from the Infinergy team to discuss any questions.

First Meeting
The first meeting was held on the 1st August at The Grouse Inn. We would like to thank everyone who came and for their input. A lot was discussed, the main topics where the Cabrach Primary School and its closing, the lack of available housing to rent or buy and also the absence of community events particularly at the hall.
